Governor’s Workshops for Local Leaders

Governor O’Malley, in partnership with the Maryland Congressional Delegation, held a series of stimulus workshops to assist local government leaders in better understanding and accessing the stimulus funds coming to the State from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Each of the State agencies with a role in distributing these funds will be provided a high level representative to serve a discussion panelist.

The Governor’s Office strongly encourages every county and municipality interested in pursuing federal stimulus funds to view the webcasts, in which state officials offer up-to-date information on how to apply for these much-needed and highly anticipated federal dollars.
